Terms of use
These terms are between you and Tony James, trading as Tony Codes, for the Off Air Android app and this website. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. The privacy policy is part of how we describe the product.
What Off Air is
Off Air plays audio files already stored on your device. It is not a streaming service. It does not sell a music catalog. You are responsible for having the right to play the files on the phone.
The play button
Core playback — play, pause, skip, seek, queue, shuffle, repeat, Now Playing, and lock-screen controls — is free. Ads never appear on Now Playing or the lock screen. Playback is never gated behind an ad.
Optional unlock
offair_lifetime is a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. It is never a subscription.
It unlocks extras such as the sleep timer with fade, gapless playback, exact resume, the home widget,
and hiding the library banner slot. A granted lifetime unlock is never yanked by us.
Play’s payment terms, refunds, and family-library rules apply to the purchase itself.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app to infringe copyright, attack the Play Billing system, or interfere with other people’s devices. Off Air must not be redistributed under the names Press Play, Unstream, or Muzio.
Availability
The app is provided as-is. Local playback depends on the files and Android version on your phone. We do not promise that every file or every device will play. We may update the app through Play.
Liability
To the extent UK law allows, we are not liable for lost files, interrupted playback, or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). If a court finds a cap is allowed, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the unlock in the 12 months before the claim, or £10 if you paid nothing.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights you have in your home country.
